Greenwood Quire Conductor and MusicaI Director currently available.
The Greenwood Quire, based in Aslackby, north of Bourne, Lincolnshire, is a thriving West Gallery choir with 30 plus singers and a band of 8 instrumentalists. The post of a permanent Conductor/Musical Director is currently vacant. We hope to recruit a successor to conduct and explore music performed from the west galleries of parish churches, in chapels, and around the towns and villages of England during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
We meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month between 9.30 am and 12.00 noon at St James' Church, Aslackby, Lincolnshire, NG34 0HZ.
